Seems like everyone on the sewing groups, including myself, has been striken with sewing paralysis. Yeah, we WANT to get in there and crank out to-die-for fashion, but something's holding us back. My self-diagnosis points to (mostly) boring fabric in the stash and an uninspiring shape to fit properly patterns. Oh, if ONLY it was for a lack of the right thread or needles or lining.
Maybe I just don't like what's going on the sewing room. The wardrobe is so sparse I have empty hangers waiting for something new. My fear of sewing pants is so ridiculous! I need a nice winter dress; I have fabric and pattern but . . .
Tonight I'll grab my timer and do 15 minutes straightening and cleaning. Maybe wind a bobbin or two, and decide what I'd most LIKE to do instead of what I SHOULD do.
