A glimpse into my fashion soul

I chose these patterns because they speak to me. They say, "make me in linen, Please!" I have linen, Italian-woven 10 yards to be exact, procured at the unbelievable price of $4/yd last summer from Michaels Fabrics. So here's a few possibilities for my sewing vacation:

Simplicity 4149

My eye is on the tunic and skirt. Do one set in the beige linen, another set in white. Mix and match for summer. Accessorize endlessly. Easy and chic.

Simplicity 4193
Styled for knits but that's ok. I think I like this skirt also, a bit more flowing. Looks very summery. The overall combination of elements is very appealing although I can't do sleeveless. Let's leave it at that.

Simplicity 4273
Another wardrobe elements pattern. This one has "work wardrobe" written all over it. But isn't it lovely? I mean really. Every piece could stand by itself in a separate pattern. Mark my words ya'll, this one will be a classic. Buy several in different sizes while you can. I did. The top takes less than 1.5 yards of fabric. I like that. Good for that last piece on the bolt you want but don't know if it's enough. Now it is!

These may go to the beach with me. If I don't make them sooner. I need clothes NOW.
